Frame shoring and formwork for a steep concrete gable roof.

Project Overview

Forming a Steep Concrete Gable in Ridgewood

These photographs show a steeply pitched gable roof structure being formed in cast-in-place concrete. Dense towers of frame shoring fill the sanctuary space and climb the outside walls, supporting a raked formwork deck. The sloped form surface, its supporting beams, and rows of post shores meeting the soffit are all clearly visible.
